LG Resmi Umumkan Optimus 3D Max dengan Layar Lebih Terang
Misteri smartphone Android besutan LG semakin terkuak satu per satu. Setelah LG Optimus Vu dan trio smartphone Optimus L, raksasa elektronik asal Korea ini resmi meluncurkan LG Optimus 3D Max yang akan menjadi Optimus 3D Cube di Korea. Sepertinya LG ingin mengulang kesuksesan dalam menyatukan hiburan 3D tidak hanya pada TV Cinema 3D-nya, tapi juga pada smartphone LG yang didukung oleh Android.
Gambar LG Optimus 3D Max yang sempat muncul beberapa waktu yang lalu ternyata tidak terlalu berbeda dari versi resmi yang dirilis LG hari ini. Namun spesifikasi yang tercantum pada rumor yang sempat beredar beberapa waktu yang lalu ternyata tidak persis sama.
Secara resmi LG Optimus 3D Max akan menampilkan kehebatan layar 3D tanpa kacamata dengan dimensi 4,3-inci berteknologi IPS LCD dengan resolusi 480 oleh 800 piksel. Tampilan Optimus 3D Max juga memiliki sudut pandang lebih luas dan diperkuat oleh Corning Gorilla Glass 2. Selain itu, layar ini mampu menampilkan kecerahan hingga 520 nits dalam mode 2D dan 250 nits dalam mode 3D, jadi kecerahan Optimus 3D MAX tentu lebih terang ketimbang pendahulunya.
Di balik kap 3D Max, LG menawarkan prosesor bertenaga 1.2GHz - dual-core OMAP 4430 dari Texas Instruments, dan 1 GHz RAM. Dibalik ponsel Anda akan mendapatkan kamera dua lensa 5 megapiksel auto-fokus, dan kamera VGA di bagian depan ponsel.
LG menyediakan memori internal 8 GHz dan baterai 1.520 mAh. Dukungan konektifitas NFC juga akan Anda temukan agar bisa memaksimalkan kemudahan LG Tag +. Meski masih menggunakan Android 2,3 Gingerbread, Namun LG telah berjanji akan menggelontorkan Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich dalam waktu dekat.
The LG Optimus 3D Max appears to be the same device, press shots of which we saw a few days ago. However, the specs that were listed in that leak were not exactly spot on, as it now becomes evident. What displays the glasses-free 3D goodness is a 4.3-inch IPS LCD screen with 480 by 800 pixels of resolution, even though we were hoping to see a bigger display with a higher pixel count. Still, the display on the Optimus 3D Max should have wider viewing angles and is reinforced by Corning Gorilla Glass 2. Besides, at 520 nits in 2D mode or 250 nits in 3D mode, it should also be slightly brighter than what we have on the Optimus 3D.
Under the hood we see a 1.2GHz dual-core processor – the OMAP 4430 by Texas Instruments, and 1 gig of RAM. Flip the phone around and you see a duo of 5-megapixel auto-focus cameras, and a VGA camera resides on the device's front. 8 gigs of on-board storage is at your disposal, and a 1,520mAh battery is what provides the smartphone with juice. Also, NFC connectivity is a welcome addition, especially when the LG Optimus 3D Max can take advantage of those smart stickers called LG Tag+ – the ones that we were introduced to alongside the LG Optimus LTE Tag. In terms of software, Android 2.3 Gingerbread is what comes out of the box, but an Ice Cream Sandwich update will be released shortly after the smartphone's launch.
